For my darkness and I have become one

My blood contains the power of the sun
Instigation becomes dangerous
And when control is reduced to none
My rage is monstrous

There's no turning back when it begins
I will be searching for a source to blame
I will unleash a torrent of hell from within
For I am known as the bearer of the flame

I loath crossing that line
Being locked behind blind eyes

But I won't regret the ruins that I will create
As I leave supernova footprints in my wake

I destroy everything more than once! / My limits are undone!
Infinite ashes haunt darkening lungs! / My heart becomes numb!

Consuming infernos help me cope
As I bathe in the smother

Scattered bravery can and will unite!

Come together and let us stand up for our rights!

Let our voices ascend from this condescending lament!

Rise up and fight against the bitter injustice to the very end!

Generations have come and passed
But here has come a time
Where this bloodline may be the last

This is what we call life
Choked by the government's grasp
And abiding by the lies they hurl in a mass

Promises were disguised / Words were lies
We couldn't cross that line / A law where corruption aligns

A home that I can't call mine / A reservation to silence the mourning
A place for the shame they hide / A destruct

I'm not fit for the title of saint
For...I thrive with guilt and shame

I feel related to the fallen
I'd...be better off forgotten

Because it's growing on me
This...abomination of self-centered pity

I beg for the removal of my existence
Father...I don't wish to be a disappointment

I can't stand my broken flaws
I'm unlike any other angel of god
A soldier, a warrior- is what I am not

So allow me to let go of my cross
Even though it's all I've really got
But I realize that I will always be a lost cause

I find myself in the sounds
I release my pain in the lyrics
Enveloping peace is found
The vibes calm my spirit

But when silence falls
Reality and time stop
And then my mind floods
With ever-consuming thoughts

The walls in my head break down
The serenity within goes silent
And every regret cries out
My memories become violent

I get this sensation
That my soul is too damaged

A dreadful realization
There's nothing left of me to salvage

Music is just a distraction
To blind myself from the carnage

I remain behind the destruction
Where darkness has the advantage

Remnants of rhyme hinder
Calling out to me once more

Too long have my eyes been closed
So many years have passed in vain
I couldn't let the road ahead get any worse

Though I regret the pain I allowed myself to sustain

This hope I bear / I've made it here

Cleansed my spirit away / Allowed scars to fade
Embraced the change / Unlocked the cage

I turned off the switch in my mind
So let the end have its way

This will be the last time I close my eyes
I'm relieved knowing everything will soon fade

I knew it was there because of you
But it was just belief based from a lie

Although you still managed to continually stab me in the back

Nothing but puppet, as I was used as your scapegoat
Sinister strings guided me to cast aside all forms of hope
We considered each other friends, because you were all I used to know

Your name is sorrow
And you want me to never again see tomorrow

I am your undying sacrifice, the one and only reoccurring offering
Once you had a taste,

I couldn't hear anything / listening to my own twisted thoughts
I was blinded from everything / witnessing my own tragic downfall

My countless nightmares wouldn't fade / I was left in this dark world alone

I guess this is how I really pictured my own end
I just want it to finally be over with, I won't resent death

To the end of this long, and lonely road

The true face of faith that I once held so dearly

This sensation is somewhat familiar-
My thick tears become entangled

I clench my trembling fists-
As a regretful prayer exits my tainted lips

Blindly lead down this beaten path!
Reaching the end forces me to despise the past

Hymns of comfort have left me feeling torn!
This flawed cross can't protect me anymore

I always reached for what wasn't even there!
The darkness becomes clear as the light disappears

I kiss the welcoming abyss / Closing the rift I once lived

Winds wisp / Tears twist
My pain and peace quickly shift / The over

I kneel on a bleak cliff
Watching this violet-crimson sunset
And reminisce within the last light rift

As the morning star is put to rest
The realm of light and darkness shift
I stand and begin to walk away from my regrets

Forgive me, Father, for my new path begins

And it's not any better, nor worse
But it's my own personal choice to let go

The Peace Seeker

Whispers that no one hears

The world is deaf from despair

The sun becomes my throne

As I watch reality become undone
-
Someone can be another person's hero
If only love existed

Dusk will break with a darker tomorrow
Another day of being two-faced

Every second- a promise is broken
Every minute- a tear is taken

Every hour- a smile is forced
Every day- a child is born

I stitch my mouth shut / I finally had enough
Silence is my sin / Truth is my friend

Seal my eyes wide / Lies can finally hide
I will witness no evil / I will force another smile

Anyone can be someone's demon
Because greed insists it

Peace is not real to a planet of villains
Needs cannot be resisted

Every chance- wrongs replace rights
Every opportunity- delusions will ignite

Every wish- is for more of the same
Every hope- is for someone else to blame
-
Screams that will echo on

The voices of war will succumb

The moon becomes my beacon

As I await for the answers I'm seeking

an interesting poem. I'm wondering, do you mean that peace can be found in death? is that what you're trying to say? cause that's what I got. That in death, you feel the ultimate peace.

Not necessarily....
Think of it as like it's from a mediator's point of view. This is from that type of person who just gives up on being a mediator, and just lets everything break loose without being involved anymore.
