Shadow Sun
And in that very moment, I knew it was already too late
My vision has adjusted
The memories of my former life all just slipped away
My light has faded
The last of the fallen sparks fluttered in the distance
My hope has been obliterated
The shadows rose to claim their long awaited radiance
My destiny was always fated
-
In my heart, I lost it all
To this very second, it's still my fault
In my body, I have been tainted
From all of the damage I sustained
In my mind, I felt everything snap
I smiled as all of the colors turned black
In my soul, I had to let it all go
Cradled by the darkness is all I will ever know
In my eyes, I felt them darken
It's all on me, because I'm the one who let it happen
In my tears, leave a trail of corruption
I have stained my face beyond recognition
In my blood, courses the aggression
I abandoned myself after I was forsaken
In my dreams, are the nightmares of tomorrow
I should have known that I was going to fall into sorrow
-
And in that very moment, I felt the last of my faith dissipate
My whole world has changed
I lay siege to all of the emotions that filled me with blame
My star died in vain
Infinite arms of blackness fell into place
My time has come
I will let the darkness finally engulf me
My shining shadow sun
