I'm not fit for the title of saint
For...I thrive with guilt and shame

I feel related to the fallen
I'd...be better off forgotten

Because it's growing on me
This...abomination of self-centered pity

I beg for the removal of my existence
Father...I don't wish to be a disappointment

I can't stand my broken flaws
I'm unlike any other angel of god
A soldier, a warrior- is what I am not

So allow me to let go of my cross
Even though it's all I've really got
But I realize that I will always be a lost cause

I will be searching for a source to blame
I will unleash a torrent of hell from within

As I leave supernova footprints in my wake

Idle No More

_{Scattered bravery can and will unite!

Come together and let us stand up for our rights!

Let our voices ascend from this condescending lament!

Rise up and fight against the bitter injustice to the very end!}

Generations have come and passed
But here has come a time
Where this bloodline may be the last

This is what we call life
Choked by the government's grasp
And abiding by the lies they hurl in a mass

Promises were disguised / Words were lies
We couldn't cross that line / A law where corruption aligns

A home that I can't call mine / A reservation to silence the mourning
A place for the shame they hide / A destruction that is considered fine

An agreement made into a mistake / Our relations were falsely created
Your smiles were feigned / For our own sake

There's countless victims of your crusade / Can't let history repeat this way
Rebuttal the decisions you made / reinvoke the culture you stripped away

Children that don't get to be
Exist inside of fear's heart
They experience withering necessities

Their eye's continue to grow dark
Among the blind only we can see
The dying breed that we're fighting for

It’s a real shame the majority of Canada’s population are easily manipulated by media channels, I’m sick of hearing underhanded racism and plain ignorance... when you ask these people (white Canadians) if they’ve ever heard of NeoLiberalism they think you’re talking about Trudeau, honestly I’m grown tired of trying to tell people what is going on... let them support their PM and we’ll see how well they’re all doing 20 years from now when their grandchildren are born looking like malformed amphibians.

Well said, but please don't give up hope. Idle no more is gaining momentum. We are not powerless. If you are one of the few that actually knows what is going on, don't stop fighting. We need people like you.

Let me apologize for my crass reply, I was not at my best last evening. The way I see it it’s proving difficult for the movement to manifest itself in a positive light with the population of the country... for a change via a social movement you need overwhelming support by the people, a common unity and goal that’s shared by the masses... but I see no unity when it comes to Canadians, maybe this is due to Canada’s lack of social and cultural identity itself, the great majority keep to themselves and are socially inept. Another great hurdle is the fact that the intellectual class has let itself been bought, you need a concise and well written plan of action before anything can begin to change for the better, this lack of clear objectives was one of the major downfalls of the occupy movement; many wanted change but were unclear as to how to achieve it. People must begin to manifest their social democracy, it’s important to stop differentiating ourselves from the political class, we treat politicians as somehow better, smarter and being basically our herders... this of course is nonsense, through open debate people should be able to establish their own democratic assemblies should our political “leaders” fail us... (they work for us, not the other way around) but again this requires massive effort both from the common folk and the intellectuals... it can be done, change is possible... unfortunately in a society that currently upholds material gain over social values it will prove very difficult.
